Ophtarline Jean François Culinary Artist, Cake Design Specialist & Co-Founder of Line d'Or
Originally from Torbeck (Bourry, Les Cayes), Ophtarline Jean François embodies the perfect blend of managerial rigor and creative passion. A graduate in Administrative Sciences from the Public University of the South in Les Cayes (UPSAC), she has successfully channeled her organizational skills and entrepreneurial spirit into her true passion: the culinary arts.
Trained in both cooking and pastry arts, she expresses her artistic talent most fully in the realm of cake design. In 2020, she brought her vision to life by founding Line d'Or, a company dedicated to culinary services and training that has become a benchmark for learning and mastering the culinary arts.
Nothing drives her more than sharing knowledge. Deeply committed to working with young people, Ophtarline is truly in her element when mentoring and inspiring the talent of tomorrow. As a judge for the "Haitians Daily Life" competition, she brings her expertise, artistic sensibility, and discerning yet encouraging eye to the next generation of culinary enthusiasts. Known for her methodical approach and analytical mindset, she is also dedicated to supporting young entrepreneurs and those launching new projects.
