Explore the experience, background, and perspective supporting this judge’s role with Haitians Daily Life.

Born in Port-au-Prince and raised in Cap-Haïtien, Philippe pursued his education in Pétion-Ville, developing a decidedly versatile skillset over the years. Although he initially trained as a diesel mechanic, it is in the culinary arts that he truly expresses his creativity, qualifying as a cook, pastry chef, and bartender. His practical career began in Carrefour, where he honed his craft during a year at *Coin d'Or* followed by two years at *Metropolis*. In 2022, he reached a new milestone by moving to Les Cayes. This turning point allowed him to channel his passion into teaching; since 2023, he has been instructing students in cooking and pastry-making at ECACUM, sharing his expertise with both rigor and enthusiasm. A visionary entrepreneur, he took a significant step forward in 2024 by founding *Pipo Le Chef*, his own catering business dedicated to serving a wide range of events. Driven by a constant desire to mentor young people, his role as a judge for the *Timoun Ann Mouté Chodyè* competition—broadcast on YouTube by *Haitians Daily Life*—marks the natural culmination of his journey. Through this venture, he supports the younger generation while helping to secure the future of a profession close to his heart.
